For over 250 years, this great city has celebrated and enjoyed its reputation as the City of Music. And no wonder! Many of Europe’s greatest composers, including Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart & Schubert, lived and worked in Vienna.

Our season opens with international acclaimed trumpeter, Crispian Steele-Perkins performing Haydn’s much-loved trumpet concerto, which was first performed in Vienna 1800. The Orchestra also perform Beethoven’s Symphony no.8 which shows the lighter side of the composer (Vienna 1814), a Mozart masterpiece first performed in Vienna in 1786, and Schubert’s Ballet Music from the play Rosamunde, which premiere in Vienna in 1823.
