Join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on a grand tour of the best of European orchestral music. Among the iconic works is Rossini’s William Tell Overture with its galloping pace and signature chest-bursting brass. Other highlights include mezzo-soprano Marta Fontanals-Simmons who joins the orchestra for Elgar’s Sea Pictures. The concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s last word on romance, his glorious Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture which makes full use of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s sweeping string section.
